Taylor-DeJongh provides financial modeling, due diligence and bankability analysis services to project sponsors, developers and government entities. The firm works with these clients, usually in partnership with consulting, engineering and legal firms, on the upfront analysis and planning for the development of major capital projects, mostly in the emerging markets. Another way that TDJ distinguishes itself from other institutions is its willingness to participate in feasibility studies for projects.
The firm also has a practice group that advises U.S. government loan guarantee programs and lenders providing an independent overview and analysis of the project’s financial structure. For example, TDJ has acted as the financial advisor to U.S. Ex-Im Bank for more than 20 years. The firm’s long and deep relationship with U.S. Ex-Im Bank and other official agencies, including the World Bank Group and Inter-American Development Bank, provides clients with a thorough and efficient understanding of how their projects may benefit from such agencies.
TDJ also acts as a financial advisor to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration’s TIFIA Credit Assistance program and to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Guarantee program. In addition, the firm can assist project developers and sponsors in applying for U.S. DOT and U.S. DOE credit assistance and loan guarantees. TDJ provides bankability analysis, financial model review and project due diligence services to prepare projects for the application process.
