The firm has acquired notable experience in the water and wastewater sector and has advised on the financial structuring and financing of water projects in 20 countries, including Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, U.A.E., China, India, Philippines and Thailand.
In addition to assisting firms with structuring and financing greenfield projects, the firm has been involved in a number of utility projects that have involved privatizations, including for water and wastewater systems. These have included complex structures and financing negotiations in a number of countries including Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Colombia. TDJ has also advised on water desalinization projects as an advisor to sponsors in the U.A.E., Bahrain and Namibia.
